The Philanthropist Season 1 Episode 2 Synopsis

In this episode, The Maidstone-Rist Company is outed by a human rights organization as having ties to businesses in Myanmar, Myanmar is also known as Burma. So Teddy visits Myanmar to ask for guidance from a local leader after his company is accused of forced labor, where there is oil and gas investigation using required labor.

Teddy decide to continue their business activities in the country and is to get advice from Daw May Lin Wai, a admired Burmese democratic leader who has been under arrest in the country for nearly two decades. Teddy meets one young girl, who badly need a kidney transplant. The girl’s father is the only donor that can match her kidney. Teddy has the money to help anybody but this time it needs not only money to help the girl, but the girl needs a kidney. What will happen next in The Philanthropist Season 1 Episode 2?
