Melissa Rycroft is an American television personality and She is currently a celebrity contestant on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars. She was missed Monday's "Dancing with the stars" show because of injury.
Host Tom Bergeron says Rycroft sustained a painful rib injury which prevented her from performing. Her professional partner Tony dovolanie, said she also suffered complications from the treatment of the injury.
The couple were judged on drill performance and earned 21 out of 30 score for their Jive. Former contestant Steve-O was also evaluated on drill performance, when he hurt himself at the beginning of this season's competition. Doctors told Rycroft she has a hair line fracture, but can continue to compete on the ABC dance-off.
