Allison Dubois starts having dreams about a young woman, who was a former kidnap victim, who Cynthia Keener had once rescued, who is now in jail. Allison is also asked by a real estate mogul to help find his missing wife, who may seem to most like a normal wife and mother of three children.

Allison is a medium, while aware she can read other people's minds and see dead people walking around. She has amazing versions to see the past or future, she usually involving the victim of a murder or a killer. She can only use them to solve murders and crimes, due to her abilities.
