In this episode focusing on Kate's birthday, Kat be given a special surprise on her birthday while the twins and the sextuplets were getting help from specialized baker Duff Goldman to bake a cake as a surprise for Kate's birthday. Kate struggles to arrange the sextuplets’ fifth birthday party by herself, and the kids take the shopping for birthday party.

Jon was away snow-boarding in Park City, Utah; he was there to do some volunteer work with Utah's disabled children on the ski slopes. Meanwhile, Jon back at home and Kate expressed her sadness of Jon's absence.
