Jersey Shore Season 5 gets Premiere Date

The MTV is celebrating the New Year with the return on their home turf season 5 of ‘Jersey Shore’. Finally, the date is released for the much awaited TV show and most-watched season premiere ever with 10.5 million total viewers of the fourth season. Snooki and Co. will be returned on the MTV reality show, Jan. 5, 2012 at 10PM ET time after spending some time with the David in Florence and Italy. They are back to Seaside Heights, N.J with the upcoming season.

The MTV network, known for its reality drama is giving best holiday present to its audience. There may be more fallout between Snooki and Co. in season 5 as Pauly D having a major tanning accident and Vinny probably leaving the show for good. Jersey Shore season 4 was overall averaged total viewers of 9.4 million and rating 8.8 in the12-34 demographic. It remained No. 1 series of MTV which premiered in December of 2009.
