Farrah Fawcett had appeared on The David Letterman Show on June 6, 1997. She received some negative comments after giving a tedious and abstracted interview on Late Show with David Letterman. 

David welcomes Farrah on the show and kisses her hands and told to the audience that our first guest of this show has achieved great success in television and movies. He also told that she will soon come on the cover of the Playboy magazine. She gave rambling answers and her behavior was strange in the interview so the audience thought that she had taken drugs.

After few months of this interview, she told the host of The Howard Stern Show that her behavior was in fact just joking around the Television host. She had just made the jokes to make laugh the audience and she had no other intention. In February 2009, When Joaquin Phoenix’s appeared on the David Letterman show, Letterman made several jokes on Farrah by remembering her appearance on this show and told to Joaquin that he is sorry as he cannot come on the show and he recall Farrah and he made an apology to her. There are a sad news for the fans of Farrrah Fawcett as the biggest sex symbols of the 1970s is died on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the age of 62 after battling against cancer since last three years.
