Star wars parody episode "We Have A Bad Feeling About This" will be included in season 9 which is a parody of "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi."

Family Guy Season 9 will consist of 148 episodes and will be in magnificent high definition from next year with première in widescreen HD. It will not only be in HD but also be a one-hour who-dunit special! On September 26th, 2010, Season 9 premieres.

In premiere, an assortment of regular and ancillary "Family Guy" characters with Agatha Christie-style will be locked up jointly trying to solve murders. Steve Callaghan and Mark Hentemann, these both veterans have been promoted to executive producers and named show runners starting from this season. The first Halloween-themed episode and a new Christmas special will be included in this season. It is noted first time that Family Guy will air in high definition.
