It's just a plain and simple FG Episode...
What's the matter with all of you "anti-cat-haters"?! It's another of Fox's family guy episode, which is as random as all the others... If they hate cats, do they also hate huge lemonademugs that suddenly bursts through the wall screaming "OH YEAAAAH"? NO. Do the hate women because Stewie killed Lois? No. Stop taking all the episodes so seriously.

Poor Kitty
That is all that run through my head through a lot of the episode. Granted, I am one of those cat nuts. Seriously, every now and then Seth hits a sour note and ruins an episode for me. This would have been a hilarious episode if he had not used a deliberate, remorseless pet killing as a plot vehicle. The ending scene made it even worse. I had almost forgotten the whole cat subplot, because the pot main section was funny.

Agreed
I know right? it was quick and painless. these cat people need to get a sense of humor and get over it. I think i'm going to start "shaving" cats until the trend catches on.

Obvious Cat Haters
The producers of Family Guy are obvious cat haters who consider them totally useless. This is apparent in any Family Guy episode that contains cats. The attitude of the characters toward cats, their wanting to do something to one of them and their remorseless accidental killing of it was sad and shameful. Unfortunately there are too many people with this same attitude toward cats and many cats are tortured and killed. This portrayal is humorless, irresponsible and disturbing and just reinforces the attitude of people who would do harm to cats. Cats are like family members to many people and to loose a cat or any pet is very emotionally painful.

Agreed on the cat violence
Nice to see that not everyone in America is so completely desensitized that that still bothered quite a few of us. Really poor taste.

Disturbing episode
Yes, that episode was disturbing. They could have made it funny going with Quagmire becoming cat obsessed. That part was funny. I sat through the rest of the episode but didn't laugh at all. I really think they went to far with such violence.

Funny Episode! :)
The thing with the cat didn't bother me, not that I don't care about cats. Like the thing where Stewie beat the crap out of Brian WAS disturbing for me while other people found it funny. I always liked Family Guy, but didn't have the time to watch the new episodes all the time. The only reason I watched it is because they mentioned Chris Martin like 5 times in a list of celebrities Peter hates, but yeah. It was a good episode, and I should watch Family Guy more often.

I was unable to finish the
I was unable to finish the episode. I've never had that happen. the part with the cat just turned me off the episode. I hate violence against animals and I'm sure they meant no harm or anything but it was very disturbing on a show that has never failed to make me laugh...
