Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched its latest service delivery platform 'BSNL Live'- a web portal on Monday.BSNL Live service would offer video on demand and movie streaming for its 3G customers. Now BSNL Live web portal service is available in more than 100 cities of northern and eastern parts of India.

Kuldeep Goyal, BSNL Chairman and Managing Director told reporter that the web portal has movie streaming, games, full track songs, video clips and it aims to be a single window store for all mobile value added content. The service is operated to meet the needs of mobile network operators, service providers, media companies, etc.

On launching ceremony, BSNL saw also movie premiere of “Jail” on BSNL 3G mobile through BSNL Live portal. The live web portal contents price for Games is Rs. 35-100, Full track songs Rs.15, Video Rs.10 to Rs.20, Video on Demand at Rs.40 and Wallpapers at Rs.10. Video category has contents like exclusive preview of forthcoming films, footage of Indian & overseas celebrities & their one to one interviews, fashion glamour world, sports, health, news, recipe, etc. “BSNL Live" added all the customer useful features like advertisement, subscription of monthly services for which customers do not have to remember short codes, said director of BSNL Board RK Aggarwal. In the games category include premium, simple, branded & multiplayer games and in the future the web portal shall have contents like themes, comics, ringtones, info service, etc.

BSNL is first Telecom operator to launch 3G Services in India. In the next six months BSNL will be covering about 760 cities countrywide. BSNL 3G consumers can watch movies any movie, anytime, anywhere according to their own convenience just by visiting 'BSNL Live'.
