Rukia attempts to lend Ichigo some of his powers so he can save his family, but much to his surprise, Ichigo swallows every drop of her energy. Now fully fledged Soul Reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world, is one of dangerous spirits, and along with Rukia - who is slowly regaining her powers. It is Ichigo task to protect the innocent from the cave and help the spirits themselves find peace.
