American idol Season 8 Result 2009: American idol group 2 Results

The eighth season of American Idol began 13 January 2009. Three chairs have been added to the scene for the next performers, who will move to the Top 12 on American Idol.

This season will feature the first 36 semifina lists of 12 different lists semifinal perform each Tuesday. Randy Jackson predicts Next "American Idol" winner will be a guy. Man, woman, and the next top vote-getter with the highest number of America's votes will make it in the top 12.

Top 12 Singers revealed after the judges' Wild Card Round Thursday March 5 Competition heats up as Top 12 finalists take the stage for the first time together on Tuesday 10 March.

25 million votes were cast last night. Ryan calls down Allison Iraheta, Jesse and Matt Langseth Breitzke. Allison, the first to go to the Top 12, singing "Alone".

Megan Corkrey and Kris Allen take the stage. It makes Matt Giraud and Jeanine Vail. Only one goes into the Top 12 Mishavonna Henson, Kai Kalama, Adam Lambert and Jasmine Murray take the stage. Mishavonna, Kai and Jasmine are eliminated.
