Shilpa Shetty wants to play in Eastenders

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty could soon become a familiar face on British television screens, it has emerged.
The 33-year-old Indian film actress and model is in talks to join the cast of soap opera Eastenders.

Her agent Max Clifford said: "I am talking to several TV people about potential work for Shilpa.
"I have had several discussions with various TV executive in the last couple of months."
Shetty, who has appeared in numerous Indian films, recently bought a £10m mansion in Surrey with boyfriend Raj Kundra.
