Taylor Lautner, who played the role as Sharkboy in the movie 'The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D' (also called Sharkboy and Lavagirl), now returns to the new 3-D movie as the cast in the title role of “Stretch Armstrong.” This movie is produced by Brian Grazer and scheduled to be released in 2012. "The Twilight Saga" star, Taylor Lautner has appeared as a real star at the worldwide box office in the past two years according to Universal Pictures Co-chairman Donna Langley's statement to Access.

To star in the action figure movie Max Steel, Lautner was attached but he ultimately dropped out of the project to permit time in his forthcoming schedule for Stretch Armstrong. For the past Sharkboy star, Stretch Armstrong will be a return to 3D, certainly with abundance of scenes where his limbs will seem like they're right in your face.
3-D Movie "Stretch Armstrong" is based on an iconic action figure that was made well-known across the world beginning in the 1970s and re-launched in the 1990s. So, it has made its mode around the world in spirit. The screenplay is written by Steve Oedekerk (Bruce Almighty). Grazer will team with Hasbro to carry once again Stretch Armstrong to life. It is expected by the directors and producers that the iconic character will basically be a hit and to watch the movie in both 2D and 3D (if this is at all probable) numerous people will go to theaters.
Academy Award®-winning producer, Grazer states, "Stretch Armstrong is a character I have wanted to see on screen for a long time ... It’s a story about a guy stretching ... the limits of what is possible to become all that he can be."
