Moon, also known as the ‘Sea of Tranquillity’ for the deadly silence it encompasses contains innumerable pits and craters. Moon, the sole satellite of planet Earth was 1st conquered by humans when the American astronaut Neil Armstrong along with his crew members landed on the moon on the historic date of July 20th, 1969 and since then astronomical science has never looked back. |
