Telugu superstar cum politician Chiranjeevi's son K. Ram Charan Teja married Upasana Kamineni on 14th June, 2012. The glittering wedding ceremony was held at the Kamineni farmhouse in the Hyderabad city. As per Hindu tradition, Ram Charan and Upasana took their marriage wows in the presence of their families, friends and relatives. Many famous personalities were present at the ceremony to bless the couple. The star list includes Amitabh Bachchan, Ambareesh, Rajnikanth, Sridevi, and almost entire Tollywood. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and numerous other politicians were also present at the ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony, a grand reception was held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre in Hyderabad on the wedding day itself. The reception was also a grand star-studded affair. Hundreds of film stars and politicians attended the party to congratulate the newly wed couple. Super stars of Southern film industry, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and Prabhu Deva were the special attractions of the reception party. Ram Charan’s actor friends like Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun and many others were present at the party. Ram Charan hosted another grand reception especially for Chiranjeevi’s fans on 15th June, 2012.
