This week's roundup of TV's guiltiest pleasures: "DANCING WITH THE STARS" (ABC). Nicole Scherzinger already had a strike against her going into this season of "Dancing With the Stars" because she was that one celeb who everyone is like. "But she's already a dancer that's not fair!" Mya was that celeb last season, but she endeared herself to the audience, which eventually understood her struggle to conquer ballroom dancing, a much different style than the one she knew. Nicole, however, isn't going to get anywhere by weeping into the camera after posting the second best scores and whining, "I'm an artist. I'm not like other people!" What the what? Tell me, Nicole, what are "other people" like? Also, and it's not that I don't enjoy a rowdy booty-shaking to a Pussycat Doll jam on a Saturday night, but artist? By the way, folks, don't try that leg lift from Nicole and Derek's routine at home without a good five-minute stretch beforehand. I think I pulled a glute. |
