Nick Cannon gives 'Halos' to honor teens

Nick Cannon will soon be a father, something he says will only help in his job as chairman of TeenNick, Nickelodeon's network aimed for youths.

"It allows me to dive even deeper into this," says Cannon about what impending fatherhood means for his day job. "That was the one missing element."

Cannon is married to Mariah Carey, who confirmed in October that she is pregnant. They've not revealed the due date.

"It'll probably make me a little more responsible," says Cannon, laughing.

Until then, however, he's focused on the "TeenNick Halo Awards," airing Friday at 8 p.m., which celebrate teenagers doing good work to help others.
