New Superman Henry Cavill engaged

Good news for some people while little bit heartbroken for few since 28-year-old British actor Henry Cavill, who will star in the upcoming movie of Zack Snyder "Superman: The Man of Steel," got engaged with his longtime girlfriend Ellen Whitaker. When the couple took a trip to Hollywood, actor apparently asked Ellen to become his wife. Before popping the question, Henry also took permission from Ellen's father to marry his daughter.

It seems that this year is a big for the Henry Cavill. The star appeared in the movies such as ''The Count of Monte Cristo'' and ''Stardust''. He will be seen next on the big screen in the thriller ''The Cold Day of Light'' and a Greek action flick, ''Immortals.'' "Superman: The Man of Steel" is scheduled to come in December 2012.

The daughter of well-known show jumper Stephen Whitaker, Ellen is presently training to make the British show-jumping team for the 2012 Olympics. Ellen Whitaker stated that she was very surprised when the actor asked her to marry him. She believed that both were only gone there to celebrate his birthday. A date for the wedding has not been scheduled yet, anyways lets congrats for their engage now.
