A person who is a convicted wife-beater, rapist or child molester is called sex offender. You have to protect your child from him. He may be your new neighbor who take interest in your child. National Sex Offender Registry:

To create a national sex offender registry, the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness introduced draft legislation, on 1 April 2004. It was proclaimed as law and on 15 December 2004, came into force. To enhance public protection, this national registration system works, police helps in identify possible suspects.
