Leon Jackson Dropped By Sony BMG

Leon Jackson has reportedly been officially dropped by his record label Sony BMG. The former "X Factor" winner was released by the company on Thursday despite his debut album Right Now selling 130,000 copies.

Dannii Minogue's prot�g� Leon Jackson was crowned victorious in 2007. However, the 20-year-old's one album only made it to a rather unimpressive No. 3 in the charts. The album spent a total of nine weeks on the U.K. chart and a total of five weeks on the Ireland chart.

His third single, "Creative" was only available via digital download in 2008. His fourth single, "Stargazing," hit radio stations in January 2009. It was also made available for purchase as a download-only single.
