Kris Allen of 23 from Conway performed "Heartless" its outstanding performance by him on May 12 in The American Idol season 8.

The Judges of The American Idol seem happy with his performance. Simon Cowell said that he had written him off after his poor performance of choice song but he changed it after that performance. Paula Abdul also happy with performance and says to him Bravo. Randy said that he liked that version better than the original one by Kanye. Kara said it was bold, brave and fearless and also added that “the tone, the pitch and the phrasing 100%.”
