Bob Seger Tour Dates Announced for 2011

Plans for Bob Seger’s North American tour have been officially announced by Bob Seger. The Detroit rocker, Bob Seger’s North American tour will be started from March 2011. The upcoming tour marks the group’s first tour since their 2006-07 treks. Up till now, official dates and places of the tour have not been released. But a 42-second video is posted by Bob Seger on his official website.

YouTube mixing music and archival visuals with a U.S. map are shown in the video. The tour will surely hit many markets such as Ohio, Michigan, New York and Missouri that are highlighted on the blank map of the video on Seger's website. As per asserted by video, Seger and friends would be hitting major cities across North America. As per the press release, dates will be announced soon.

According to Rolling Stone report, Seger’s timeless classic songs such as 'Night Moves' and 'Old Time Rock & Roll' as well as some new material from an upcoming as yet untitled new album will be featured in the concert. The press release of tour gives a clue that Seger is working on a new material, but it is indistinct that when the project will start. Only three shows have been booked by him with the current incarnation of Grand Funk.
