Scottish musician, vocalist and Academy Award-winning songwriter, Annie Lennox make people wowed all the audience at the American Music Awards 2008 with an emotionally-charged performance - just three months after undergoing successful spinal surgery.
Annie Lennox received the award for Merit surprise guest Justin Timberlake. Lennox's contribution to music was characterized by her rousing performance on Sunday (23Nov08) - when she was presented the award of Merit at the 36th annual Åmås in Los Angeles - Revocation star-studded audience on their feet. Lennox joins a long list of music legends, including Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney and Whitney Houston, which has also been honored with the award. |
