Is Thomas Haden Church also off to Mars?

Thomas Hayden Church has dropped a hint that he’s joining Andrew Stanton’s John Carter Of Mars for Disney.

Fresh off the weekend’s news that Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins have been cast as John Carter and the movie’s princess respectively, it looks like Stanton has cast another big role.

Talking on US movie show ReelTalk, Hayden Church was asked about future projects and blabbed: “I'm probably going to do a huge science fiction drama at Disney called John Carter Of Mars and that's a very dramatic role.”

 
There’s no word on what the part might be – indeed, he isn’t even officially cast yet, but we’d love to see him playing a villain.
