Slumdog Millionaire Movie Synopsis
Once an orphan named Jamal Malik, from the slums in Mumbai, makes it the last question on the Indian version of Who wants to be millionaire, his credibility is questioned. He cheated? Police arrest and torture of 18 years, hoping to uncover any illegal motivation, but have their life story so far. And that is why Danny Boyle's Slumdog millionaire is really smart. The film is not really to win 10 or 20 million rupees a millionaire, is a love story told through flash-backs.
There are three different types of people: those who know little about all those who know a lot about one or two things and those who only know what they have suffered throughout their lives. Jamal fits perfectly into the third category. Jamal each answer is right at the show, leading to the last question was the result of an important moment in his childhood, living on the streets of India. And of course there are Latika, a girl, serving as a line through the adventures of Jamal. She is the love of his life, love lost. Indeed Jamal only tried in a millionaire in the hope that Latika can see and which could meet.
With an electrifying score by AR Rehman, Boyle presents India as it has never seen before, from the slums to TAJ MAHAL. Vivid visuals combined with this City of God, as the story of orphans trying to survive in a city riddled with gangs. Based on the novel by Vikas Swarup success Q and A, Slumdog millionaire script by Simon Beaufoy, also wrote a script for The Full Monty, one of the favorite films Boyle. My only complaint is that torture sequence that starts the movie is considered unnecessary to the story, and no place in this movie. But it is only a side issue.
