Director Michael Mann has been working on Public Enemies, an upcoming action period movie starring Johnny Depp and Christian bale: In 1933 America’s most notorious criminal was finally brought to justice.

Public Enemies Movie Cast Preview:

- Johnny Depp as John Dillinger: An American bank robber whose exploits dominated the press during what is sometimes referred to as the public enemy era, between 1931 and 1935.
- Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis: An FBI agent chosen by J. Edgar Hoover to lead a manhunt to catch Dillinger.
- Marion Cotillard as Billie Frechette: Dillinger’s torch singer girlfriend.
- Channing Tatum as Pretty Boy Floyd: An American bank robber and alleged killer.

Would not have expected so much action in the movie Public Enemies: I’m impressed by this this movie trailer. But I can but think of the Dark Knight every time I see Christian Bale in this movie: I’d even say that this is a Dark Knight transported back to the 1930’s and without masks… But still it’s damn enjoyable!
