The new District 9 trailer lands

The new trailer for District 9, packed full of fresh footage has arrived, and you can watch it below.

Directed by former ads helmer (and Peter Jackson Protégé Neil Blomkamp, and adapted from his Alive In Joburg short, District 9 is shaping up to be one of the more satisfying sci-fi experiences of the year.

And the new trailer gives us both more of the plot – major problems between humans and the aliens who live in a fenced-off slum in South Africa – and the action that has been largely hidden until now.

If you were wondering whether the fractious relationship between humanity and its extraterrestrial neighbours turns explosive, wonder no longer.
