My Sister's Keeper 2009 Movie Story

Sara and Brian Fitzgerald are live with their young son and 2 years old daughter Kate. But their life is changed when they know that Kate has leukemia. According to doctor, the parents has only one chance to save her daughter that they have to produce a child that would be a perfect match as donor for Kate. And the parents do whatever for Kate’s life. And they have new baby Anna to be use as donor for Kate.

Kate as Sofia Vassilieva and Anna as Abigail Breslin share a bond closer than most sisters. But Kate is older and she relies on her little sister actually her life depends on Anna.

All though their young lives, the sisters suffer several medical procedures. Sara left her career as an attorney to care for her daughter. She gives all efforts to save Kate And she is sometimes lost inside the single-minded caregiver she has become in her efforts to save Kate. Brain who is Sara’s strong, supportive husband is frequently provided powerless and passive by his wife's strength and determination. And their only son Jesse floats, at times all but forgotten as Kate and Anna take center stage.

Life becomes more difficult for Anna however when Kate goes into renal failure and the first medical answer is that Anna will have to donate a kidney. At that time she hires her own lawyer and beginning a court case that divides the family and that could leave Kate's rapidly failing body in the hands of destiny. 'My Sister's Keeper' reveals surprising truths that challenge one's perceptions of family love and loyalty and give new meaning to the definition of healing.
