The first big dump horror movie from 2009 about a young woman who discovers that her twin brother died trying to enter the world as a dybbuk - a Jewish monster living bodies of his victims. Unborn strives to be an intelligent Horror Films, and almost succeed until they were betrayed by some pretty lame special effects and some odd plot hiccup near the end.
Unborn is not more than perhaps expected. Brooke Adams, who had previously been in such films as The Dead Zone and the 1978 remake of Invasion of the body snatchers, is probably the only positive in the film has going for it. Oldman's role is minimal to the point where it seems he did it as an advantage for his Batman cohort and Elba role is small even in relation to that he is only in the last minute.

Indeed, the unborn are more interesting as a source of trivia questions than it is like a horror movie. Lisa Kudrow, Friends of the TVs, appears as a nurse in Dr. Meyer Whiting's lab and comedienne Kathy Griffin is her first film role as Connie, lesbian birthing coach.
The strange but effective soundtrack was scored by Gary Numan, who is probably best known for his 80s hit, "Cars." The film is not terrible, the unborn are not really worth seeing, unless you want to see Lisa Kudrow as Brunette or see Kathy Griffin, before she had a large amount of plastic surgery.
