Kyle Gallner added to Nightmare On Elm Street

Kyle Gallner is the first actor to join the reboot of A Nightmare On Elm Street following the casting of Jackie Earle Hayley as dream demon Freddy Krueger.

Gallner is playing Quentin, one of the main characters who must go up against Freddy as he terrorizes the local teens.

It’s a similar role to the one played by Johnny Depp in the original Nightmare.

Gallner is no stranger to horror – he’s just appeared across the pond in The Haunting In Connecticut (above) and will be one of those dealing with a flesh-chomping Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body.

While Variety is confirming the story, true credit for breaking the scoop must go to horror site Bloody Disgusting.
