Kick Ass is a movie based on Millar’s popular series in which Dave Lizewski who is an ordinary teenage boy but he decides to be a real life hero putting on a superhero suit in his action. This film is action fantasy film and is already being plotted out.The movie stars Aaron Johnson as the title character Dave Lizewski/Kick-Ass, Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy, and Chloe Moretz as his 11-year old daughter Hit Girl.
This movie is under production and producer says it will be definitely being ready by the next 2 year. Comic Book Author Mark Millar gave an interview to Sci-Fi Wire says that Wanted made $350 million. So that was the thing that opened the doors. I didn’t expect that. For some reason I just assumed, “Oh, yeah, this will come out and do OK. If I get another movie at some point, wonderful.” But what happened very quickly was that several of the titles got picked up to be made into movies. Kick-Ass. War Heroes. I’m doing American Jesus. Kick-Ass 2 is already being plotted out. We’re planning it, because all the actors are quite young and we have to make it relatively quickly. So we’ll definitely do that inside the next 18 to 24 months.”
