First Expendables shots explode online

Sylvester Stallone has released the first official stills from The Expendables.

And they’re… well, they’re certainly action packed, loaded with explosions, people jumping from docks and Sly looking like a slobbery dog as he runs.

No, really – check out the pic below.

In the gallery you can find to your right, you’ll see the other two pics – Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Roberts leaping for their lives into water (and holding hands as they do – macho!) and Jason Statham walking with Sky.

The Stath looks like he’s trying to persuade Sly to take a picture with him. And Stallone’s having none of it. Okay, just kidding.

The film - which finds a group of mercenaries heading to South America to take out a dictator - is now shooting at full pelt to be ready for an April 2010 release in the US and, if we’re lucky, a swift arrival over here soon after that.
