The viral website for sci-fi drama/thriller District 9 has launched an online game that lets you enter the movie’s alien/human-phobic world.
Yes, just in time for the 4th Of July holiday as Hollywood starts to shut down like a dying Transformer, we get a flash game (which, we’ll warn you, slows to a crawl after a while) to while away the weekend hours.
You can play as either a human – with the job of capturing or (more fun) shooting the naughty aliens attempting to revolt and escape, or as a non-human trying to make it out of the slum.
And according to the team at Collider, we'll get to see a new trailer for the movie next week.
