Rock biopic The Runaways has been busy filming in Los Angeles, and now pictures have emerged of Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart on set.
While we’ve seen Stewart in her Joan Jett getup before, there hasn’t been much coverage of Fanning, playing leader singer Cherie Currie.
And it’s Fanning who makes the biggest impact here - she’s almost unrecognisable these days from the little girl who appeared in the likes of War Of The Worlds. Sniff… she’s growing up fast.
With recent word that Arrested Development’s Alia Shawkat has joined the film as the band’s bass player – or at least a fictional conglomeration of the string-strummers who swung through the band during its heyday in the ‘70s and ‘80s, it’s shaping up to hopefully be something decent.
We’ll have to wait until next year to see for sure. Meanwhile, check out a few more pics in the gallery to the right.
