Comic-Con 09: Oldman says Batman 3 shoots "next year"

Don't go putting it in your diary just yet, but Gary Oldman appeared at the Book Of Eli panel at Comic-Con and announced that a third Batman film would shoot next year.

When asked by a member of the audience about the future of the Bat films, Oldman replied, "The next Batman is next year. We start shooting next year.

Naturally, we'll follow up with Oldman when we get to talk to him, and since there hasn't been an official announcement, consider this a rumour for now.

And, most importantly, has anyone told Chris Nolan?
