Cameron Diaz might just be teaming up with Seth Rogen for The Green Hornet.
No, she’s not playing Kato (with luck, Stephen Chow’s still in that role), but according to Entertainment Weekly, she’ll be playing the female lead.
As to what that entails? Sony isn’t saying yet, though she could be a version of Leonore Case, publisher and Hornet alter ego Britt Reid’s secretary.
But wouldn’t it be more fun if Diaz were being asked to play a villain? We’d pay to see her being evil.
The film, meanwhile, needs to get down to work soon if it’s going to meet that scheduled July 2010 release date across the pond…
