Avatar looks like Aliens

For everyone who thinks that Avatar will be so original it’ll blow their minds so sky-high they’ll never be able to look at a cinema again without squinting, we have some solemn news for you.

We’ve seen an image, and it is recognisable.

It is very cool, mind you – especially as it features an awesome sci-fi truck thing. It’s just that truck looks like it’s parked in the same garage as the APC from Cameron's Alien sequel.

It’s the first in-film image we’ve seen, but it does come from a blurry monitor shot, so it’s probably nothing to worry about – we’re sure the first proper picture will be glorious.
