Miss Universe 2009 pageant is being held on 22, 2009 in the Bahamas in the South American region. Each contestant was judged in three categories like, evening gown, swimsuit and Interview. The top 15 finalists appeared in swimsuit suits before the final 10 were chosen for the evening gown segment.

First judges were chosen total of 83 contestants in the pageant, and then who were chosen as top 15 final participants. The main attraction for contestants is an opportunity to break into and found themselves in the lucrative world.
