In the video, Michael Jackson is on fire and he is totally unaware of it. He seen successfully finishing one take of the commercial and continued to perform until he was rushed by dozen of stagehands who quickly help to put out the fire. Where pyrotechnics go off around him, but on the sixth take, the explosion happens too soon and Jackson’s hair caught on fire.

After the 1984 incident, Jackson and Pepsi settled out of court with $1.5 million. Michael donated the amount to the Brotman Memorial Hospital in Culver City, California, establishing the Michael Jackson Burn Center for Children.
