The golden casket cost is $25,000. It is made from be Solid bronze with 14-karat gold plating on it. The custom casket is called the Promethean. The casket ordered Thursday night, 2nd July, from Batesville Casket Company. The open casket vigil was being held at the Hall of Liberty complex. Michael Jackson's casket was taken to the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burbank, in a white carriage.
