King of Pop Michael Jackson's 'Homicide' Video
King of Pop Michael Jackson's death has been ruled a homicide, according to the report from the Los Angeles coroner's office. The real cause of death of Jackson is finally known after a search warrant affidavit revealed that Jackson had taken overdose of fatal combination of the powerful anesthetic "propofol" when he died on June 25.
Propofol is a powerful anesthetic administered intravenously in operating rooms to induce oblivion, and it is unusual to see it administered in a private home. Two other sedatives were also found in his blood. There were found about eight bottles of Propofol in Jackson’s home along with numerous other medications.
Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray said in his 32 page warrant that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for six weeks. Murray said each night he gave Jackson 50 mg of propofol, also known as Diprivan, diluted with the anesthetic lidocaine via an intravenous drip before his death.
