Mariah Carey performed 'I'll Be There' at Michael Jackson's memorial

A beautiful singer Mariah Carey gave emotional opening performance at Michael Jackson’s memorial with a sweet version of the Jackson 5’s ballad “I’ll Be There.” 

She started her performance alone then joined by Trey Lorenz on Tuesday after Jackson’s golden casket was placed in front of the Staples Center stage. Jackson’s flower-draped casket was brought to Staples Center in a motorcade under law enforcement escort.

She wore black glittery dress and was singing “I’ll Be There” with the emotions. Her voice isn’t as great as once was but she gave heartfelt and true song performance.  Now that Michael Jackson has been laid to rest, maybe it’s time for us all to move on.
