Luke Perry's Hallmark film is not the mild West

When he first started out in acting nearly three decades ago, Luke Perry wanted to make Westerns.

He's gotten that chance in recent years, the latest with "Goodnight for Justice," a film airing tonight at 8 on the Hallmark Movie Channel.

"My desire didn't go away," Perry says. "I've got s- in my mind I want to make."

The Hallmark Movie Channel film is one of those things. He stars as Judge John Goodnight, circuit judge out for justice. To get the film made, Perry served as an executive producer and called on his longtime pal and former "Beverly Hills, 90210" castmate Jason Priestley to direct.
