Keyshia Cole Gives Birth to a Son - Keyshia Cole's Baby

28 years old talented singer, Keyshia Cole and her fiancé basketball player Daniel Gibson (24) are now become parents of a son as Keyshia gave a birth to a baby boy on Tuesday March 2nd 2010 at 11:54 p.m. The new born baby boy is named as Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr., weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces. According to Monica (Cole’s best friend forever), since Monday night, Keyshia was in labor and her fiancé, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, was by her side in the delivery room, which took place in Cleveland, Ohio.

Keyshia Cole’s rep released a statement saying: “[They] are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr.Both mother and baby are doing great.The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time. Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.”

According to Monica (R&B singer): “Wanted u guys to know I give KC all of your messages & she ALWAYS graciously thanks u. Sending her my love especially tonite. That’s my girl.”

Keyshia Cole is a Grammy Award-nominated R&B performer who has starred in her own BET reality show, "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” and Gibson was drafted by Cleveland in 2006 and both had engaged on New Year’s Eve.

In January, Keyshia had announced her pregnancy by giving a statement to her fans, "Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It's very important to both Daniel and I ... the stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it's not what I need at this time in my life."
