Katrina Kaif, the firang bollywood babe who plays the part of a widowed politician in Prakash Jha’s upcoming political thriller ‘Rajneeti’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor, has refuted the popular perception that it was a serious film, which would not entertain and said that it had all the ingredients like jealousy, bitterness, romance and betrayal in it. Kat clarifies that the topic of the film was electoral politics, which was definitely serious, but the film itself was full of entertainment for the hoi polloi as well as for the classes. Even the perception that Katrina Kaif’s character was based on Congress president Sonia Gandhi went for a toss when the beautiful lass revealed that director Prakash Jha had given her a free hand to model her character. |
