In the little corner of the anime world where boys' love is a fun and exciting mix of adult romance and situational comedy, Right Stuf/Nozomi Entertainment's upcoming home video release of Junjo Romantica should be a welcomed addition. Deliciously fixed somewhere in the category of yaoi. Whose focus is distinctly on male-male personal relationships, Junjo Romantica takes a look at three relational pairs, some of whose chance for success is far easier to discern than others. The first season of the anime series will be available in the first week of May 2010 from Nozomi Entertainment, the production division of online anime retailer Right Stuf International. Misaki is doing everything he can to pass his college entrance exams. Unfortunately for him, critical study habits aren't exactly his strong suit. Misaki is twice as likely to stress and flip out than he is to buckle down and solve a problem as maturely as he knows he should (which sometimes makes things a bit more nightmarish than they really are). |
