The recent news about Jaycee Dugard are that she was kidnapped by sex offender named as Phillip from a school bus on June 10, 1991 at the age of 11 outside her home in South Lake Tahoe, was finally reunited with her family after 18 years.

Jaycee Dugard has been recently found in California, and on August 26 2009, Dugard came in contact with a California parole officer, and on next day she was confirmed to be Jaycee Lee.

Phillip Craig Garrido of 58 and his wife Nancy Garrido of 55 were arrested for her kidnapping. Dugard was concealed in a labyrinth of sheds and tents behind his home in Antioch, California. She bore with two daughters between kidnapping and reappearance.

When she was abducted she was in Grade 5 and attending Meyers Elementary School near South Lake Tahoe. In September 1990, she and her family moved from the Orange County city of Garden Grove to South Lake Tahoe for escape violence.

Carl Probyn, her stepfather observed the abduction from the distance of two blocks. When Dugard was waiting at the school bus stop, two people in a gray sedan make a U-turn, despite of her struggle, they forced her into car. He tried to overtake their vehicle on bicycle but could not reach. The abduction case attracted countrywide attention and was featured on the television show America's Most Wanted several time.

Garridos took Dugard to his home in a low-rent, unincorporated area within northeast Antioch. He built privacy fence around his property that had many large trees in the yard. In 2006, one neighbor of Garrido had called 9-1-1 and inform about tents in backyard. There were children living there and Garrido was a psychotic with sexual addictions. A deputy sheriff told him if people were living exterior on property there would be a rule violation. When Dugard has already found in August 2009, the local police apologize for missing a chance in 2006.
