Taco Bell Dog Dead
A dog Gidget who became well-known as the Taco Bell dog has died at the age of 15. The Taco Bell Dog made the phrase “¡Yo quiero Taco Bell!”
Gidget reportedly died by a stroke on Tuesday. After her retirement from Taco Bell Chihuahua she had lived a comfortable life. She was featured in a commercial for GEICO in 2002. In 2003, she played the role of Bruiser's mother in Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde.
Gidget’s trainer Sue Chipperton said “She made so many people happy,”
Her trainer also added “One time, I kid you not, she actually pushed her stand-in out of the way because he was still there when she arrived on set,” Chipperton recalled with a laugh. “Gidget always knew where the camera was.”
