About StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty

A military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game Star Craf is StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. For parallel release on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, the game is being developed. During development, StarCraft II was split into three installments: the base game which acquired the subtitle Wings of Liberty, and two expansion packs, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.

The public beta test of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has been officially begun! Invitations to participate in the beta test are now being conveyed. The beta-test process for StarCraft II will occur in phases as with previous Blizzard Entertainment titles. In each phase, they will be choosing players who meet definite criteria and who have opted in using their Battle.net accounts. Do not worry if your do not receive a beta test invite, as there is possibility that it will be added in a later phase.
