Fans will no doubt be excited about the Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince movie, and EA have just released this demo of their forthcoming video game version. In the demo, you control Harry in two events. The Gryffindor Dueling Club and Flying Club. In the first, you are taught how to execute a few spells, and must then duel two of your friends to see who's quickest with their wand. In flying club, you have to fly around a twisting and turning course above a Quidditch course, trying to catch the Golden Snitch. Control in both events is easy, and your are accompanied by schoolboy commentary throughout. Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince looks like it will satisfy fans of the books and movies. The gameplay seems to be pitched at younger players, and is a little easy as a result. The graphics are polished enough, but are nothing special in today's high definition world.The demo is a fairly hefty , for quite a short demo. There's not much replay value in either event unless you lose on your first attempt. |
